Karl Kramer

Karl Kramer

Born: March 14, 1957

Tubist with the critically-acclaimed Brass Ring quintet, he is a graduate of Temple University, where he earned a BM in Music Education, magna cum laude. He is also a graduate of the Yale School of Music and the Manhattan School of Music, where he earned a DMA studying with Toby Hanks. While at Yale, he was assistant director of University Bands. Currently, Karl is principal tubist with the New Haven Symphony.
