Commissioned by the Waverly High School Jazz Ensemble (NE) directed by Jim Kucera, this straight-ahead swinger for medium level groups provides an abundance of teaching opportunities. The strong melody, solid ensemble writing, blues based changes and an open solo section (written or ad lib) all combine to create a chart that can be an effective opener or closer. Duration 4:05.
