Description

This adaptation of a piece originally written by Henry Purcell in the 17th century is a marvelous addition to the concert literature for string orchestras of today. Playable entirely in first position, all sections share melodic duties. The optional percussion part for snare and bass drums enhances the regal flavor of the music. Duration 3:30.
