This dynamic blues shuffle offers optional written solos for alto, tenor, trumpet and/or trombone; the piano player has written solos at the beginning and end as well. For this chart to sound its best, the rhythm section must lay down a strong, swinging shuffle beat. Two 8-bar stop-time sequences demand all the authority and precision your band can muster.
