Colonel Bogey March by Alford, Arr. by James Christensen
Scored in the keys of G and C for standard strings with optional piano and snare drum, this immortal march will be incredible popular with everyone. First written by Major Kenneth Alford in 1916 and later made famous in the movie Bridge On The River Kwai, it demands a steady, stately tempo. This is especially true if audiences are invited to whistle along with the melody at measure 5, as Jim suggests in his score.
