Scored for AATB sax quintets with optional piano, guitar, bass and drums, this delightful Niehaus swinger is idiomatic jazz writing at its best. Using a variety of techniques and textures to keep players on their toes, it contains plenty of full-ensemble passages, a tenor lead, a shout chorus, and even an alto solo (as written or improvised). Great as a training or showcase piece for intermediate sax sections, the tempo is moderate and the duration 3:20.
