The popular song by Jack Rollins and Steve Nelson about the happy-go-lucky snow man with the corncob pipe, a button nose and two eyes made out of coal, is arranged here at the grade 3+ level for woodwind quintets, and grade 4 level for trombone quartets. Jarvis’ setting utilizes catchy, yet accessible swing rhythms, and provides brief rests for each player at strategic intervals.
