Another challenging big band chart from Bob's Latin From Manhattan CD was commissioned by Bob Lark of DePaul University. On the sheet which accompanied his proofs Bob jotted a note saying this chart could have been titled, James Brown Meets Tito Puente. Familiar Latin rhythms mixed with subtle rhythmic interplay makes playing with precision and authority extremely crucial.
